If you’ve just come across the Thorney Island Society you might well be curious as to what Thorney Island actually is!

We recently collaborated with the City of Westminster Council on a short video, in which Society committee member and local historian Vic Keegan chats to Westminster’s Charlie-Ann Cairns about the history behind this fascinating area. It’s a nice bite-sized intro for anyone finding out about Thorney Island for the first time.
